The M&A strategy at PSSI was to pursue targets that would increase the Company’s geographic footprint, add new food segments and broaden its customer base. Blue Point evaluated niche food cleaning segments and select non-food segments, ultimately executing the acquisitions of Kaiser Contract Cleaning Specialists, Inc. and Canadian Contract Cleaning Services, Inc. The former was an industry-changing transaction that solidified the Company’s dominant market position, as PSSI and Kaiser together were 5x larger than next largest competitor.
